Belief in the Unknown

Excerpt from Perfidy

"My poor husband fell with a loud thud and crashed through the kitchen door. I heard him shriek in pain as he landed on his face, his head hitting the ground with a smack. I grabbed the door handle and slammed the tempered glass door behind him. As I retreated from the door, warm air rushed into my face. Our patio furniture flew as a powerful gust of wind whooshed by, and a red laser beam crept toward the door before halting at the entrance.

I glanced at Noah sitting upright on the floor. His face lost color, leaving behind a pale and lifeless complexion. My jaw dropped in amazement as a ray of light sucked everything shrouded in the light into the spaceship. The familiar stench of rotting garbage from Zarzu lingered in the entire house from the open kitchen window, confirming Nephilim aliens had arrived.

“Carmen, Carmen Northrop.” I wondered who called my name. I stood fastened to the floor, unable to move a muscle. Did my mind trick me? Then I heard my name once more. A deep, raspy voice left no question it belonged to Zerus. I searched for any sign of Zerus’s manifestation. Instead, the deafening silence engulfed us, creating a cocoon of stillness.

I pivoted to face Noah, still on the ceramic tiles, his legs stretched wide with no expression. Overwhelmed with concern for him, I sank to my knees to inspect the gash on his forehead. As the blood trickled over his face, I reached up to grab the kitchen towel to dab the blood. As he turned, his eyes met mine, conveying his profound emotions. Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around me in a comforting embrace. I could sense his terror as the laser, mere inches away, shook him to his very core."

The rise of aliens has once again appeared in newspapers, social media, and podcasts, but there is no mention of our Savior and the possibility that His hand might be in the mix. I often wonder what it will take for humanity to acknowledge that the Son of God was born, crucified, died, buried, and arose on the third day. If we believe in fascial stories, science fiction stories, and the numerous movies that plague our minds every day of every hour, then why not give respect to the Master of the Universe, who is El Elyon (the highest God)?

In the novel "Perfidy," the main character is tormented by the re-emergence of extraterrestrial beings from another world. At the same time, her husband Noah remains unfazed until he faces a close encounter with abduction. What will it take for our world to believe in Yahweh? I believe that once he has taken up the church of those worthy to go before the tribulation begins, he will make people who are left take a moment of self-evaluation and seek Jesus Christ.

Matthew 25:13, “Watch therefore for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the SON OF MAN is coming.”
