Proverbs 18:10
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”
Are we in a season where everyone is running away from God rather than to God? We are now experiencing a paradigm shift in our world. In times of tragedy, I have observed that we seldom mention the title of Almighty God as a friend and Savior. Although Father God saved those who deny Him, the survivors believe they are lucky to be alive and will rebuild their lives without acknowledging their Creator.
Many prophets ran from God in the Bible, but they found that the running didn’t serve them because God still loved them and put obstacles in their path until they had to yield to the calling of God to get their life back in order. Father God wants a connection with you more than anything, and the only way to get that connection is to stop running and allow our spirit to appreciate prayer, study the word, and engage in an emotional and intellectual relationship with God and our soul. We must merge the two souls, and then we will have a connection with our Holy God. We must repent of our sins and then ask God to lead our lives. So stop running away from God, but run to God and find a life of wholeness.
