Passover, known as Pesach in Hebrew, starts on Friday at sundown, and I was thinking about why we celebrate this High Holy day in the Jewish and Christian religion. My Jewish brothers and sisters commemorate the Exodus from Egypt and the Jewish nation’s birth for eight days (March 27 – April 4). As Christians, we celebrate the same holiday from Palm Sunday to Resurrection (Easter) Sunday (March 28 – April 4). We celebrate the same awaking from sin, slavery, and oppression from the enemy who is Lucifer. Then I thought of how Chapter 2 of Exalted Above All Gods expressed a warning to the souls left to go through the Tribulation on earth and how they struggled with faith in Almighty God. We are struggling to be free of our sins and to become righteous in the eyes of our Lord and Savior daily in our lives.
